Different Meats On Your Barbecue – Chicken
Posted on 11. Apr, 2009 by admin in Barbeque recipe
Let me tell you about one of my favourite meats I enjoy when I’m having a barbecue: chicken. You can use all different parts of the chicken when having a barbecue. Chicken can also be used in different recipes so you chould have a lot of barbecues without having to eat the same recipe twice.
If you open up a cookbook or look around on the internet, you will find a lot of recipes that can help you on your way to find something you and your family will like. I already have a lot of recipes that I found this way and I do use them regularly when having friends over for a barbeque.
One of those recipes I really love is Barbequed Orange Chicken. It has a nice tasty flavour and really gives you the summer on your plate.
Barbequed Orange Chicken
4 chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup lime juice
3 cups orange juice
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, crushed
Add the chicken breast halves and the lemon, lime and orange juice in a bowl. Cover it with mint leaves and honey, just sprinkle it over the chicken and the juice. After you have done this, cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for the night. This will mix up the flavours really good. Start preheating your grill, put it on medium heat and coat it with oil. After your grill is preheated, lay the chicken on the grill and cook it for 6 to 8 minutes on each side. Make sure it is properly cooked, you can add time if it isn’t after 8 minutes.
Try it out next time you are having a barbecue. Your guests are going to love it and will want to know how you made it. And if you do, please, let me know how it turned out, I love to hear back from you and I know other readers would love the feedback.
